Tour reservation

1. Please pay the full amount of the boarding fee as the application fee by credit card, convenience store settlement or postal transfer at the time of booking or after booking. The application fee will be treated as part of the boarding, cancellation or penalty fee.
2. Reservations can be made by phone, e-mail or on the WEB. Payment must be made within three days after the arrival of the booking confirmation form. In principle, reservations are valid until the customer notifies us of the cancellation. However, it could be treated as if the reservation was no made if the application payment is not settled within this period. Please note that the cancellation fee applies at the time of the application.
3. The Kitayama River sightseeing raft descent shall be completed when Kitayama-mura consents the embarkation and receives the application fee.

   Application fee
   Adults 6,600 yen per person
   Elementary school students who are over 10 years old 3,300 yen per person

1. Must be healthy and have strong legs, and be between 10 and 75 years old. Pregnant and those who drink on the day are not allowed to board the boat even under the conditions
2. A parental consent is required for people under 15 years of age and apply alone for boarding.
3. Applications may be refused due to other business circumstances of Kitayama-mura.

1. The boarding fee must be paid within 2 weeks after booking. If the reservation is made after 14 days or more before the actual date, settlement must be done by the time of application or by the date specified by Kitayama-mura.

1. Boarding fares are based on the date of boarding, elementary school students over 10 years old are considered as children, and between 75 years old and junior high school students are charged adult fees, unless otherwise specified.

1. Kitayama-mura may change its operation schedule and service contents due to natural disasters, wars, riots, traffic or weather conditions, and other reasons not related to Kitayama-mura. In this case, we will explain in advance except in emergencies.

1. Before commencement of operation
   1. It is possible for customers to cancel the reservation at any time by paying the cancelation fee specified below. In this case, the amount after subtracting the fixed cancelation fee from the boarding fee (application fee) that has already been received will be refunded. If the application fee does not cover it or if the application fee has not been paid, the difference will be charged. Also, for applications after the 6th day prior to the date of boarding, please understand that you will be subject to a cancelation fee.
   2. Cancelation fee (If the reservation is canceled at your convenience after it is

      completed, the following cancelation fee will be charged per person for the boarding fee)
      * For the cancelation date, if the boarding date is Monday, the cancelation fee will be charged from Tuesday of the previous week.
      * Change of services and schedule after application is subject to the cancelation fee above.
   3. It is possible to cancel the reservation without having to pay the cancelation fee in the following cases.
      a, When the operation schedule is changed based on paragraph 5 (1).
      b,　When it becomes impossible to operate the boarding schedule due to reasons attributable to Kitayama Village
2. After the start of operation
   1. Even in cases when the reservation is canceled or temporarily withdrawn while using the service due to the customer's convenience or some part of the services is not used, it will be considered as resignation of rights from the customer's side no refund will be given.

Kitayama Village may cancel reservations and stop operations before and after the start of operation in the following cases.

1. When typhoons, strong winds, river flooding, etc. are expected to adversely affect operations
2. When the information on the age, qualifications, etc. that were provided beforehand by the customer clearly do not meet the boarding conditions specified by Kitayama Village
3. When the customer is deemed to be unable to withstand the embarkation due to illness or other reasons
4. When Kitayama Village acknowledges that the customer may inconvenience other customers and hinder smooth operation
5. When safe and smooth operation is not possible or there is a feasibility of not being possible due to natural disasters, orders from public offices, or other reasons that Kitayama Village cannot interfere

1. Kitayama Village will compensate you for any damages caused intentionally or accidentally during raft operation. However, only when notified to Kitayama Village within two years from the day after the damage occurred.
2. The customer's damages will be covered by the insurance that is applied when boarding.
3. The customer shall not be liable under the preceding paragraph if the customer suffers damages for the following reasons.
   a　 Changes or suspensions in operations caused by natural disasters, typhoons or strong winds, or flooding of rivers
   b　 An order from public office or self-isolation due to infectious diseas
   c　 Robbery or destruction, loss, damage, breakage

1. Please note that the bus departs on time even if your arrival is delayed.
2. Basically, it is determined to operate on rainy days. However, in the event of a typhoon, heavy rain, strong winds, river flooding, etc., we will notify you in advance of the suspension of operation. In addition, it may be canceled suddenly at the discretion of the local guide or operation responsible person based on the weather conditions on the day. In that case, please understand that, as a principle, the entire boarding fee will be refunded if it is before departure, and a part of the boarding fee will be refunded if it is after departure.
3. Please note that the boarding fee will not be refunded in case you cannot board because of late arrival due to road or traffic conditions.
4. Please put your luggage in your car or use the coin locker in the tourist center. Also, please keep your luggage to a minimum.
5. As a qualification, participants must be between 10 and 75 years of age, in good health and have good legs.
6. At Kitayama River sightseeing rafting, we have damage insurance in the event of compensation at Kitayama Village's responsibility.
7. There is no personal liability insurance for interpersonal or property damage matters between customers.

Kitayama Village has established the following privacy policy regarding the handling of information including personal information on users of the services provided by Kitayama Village.

This policy is applied to the tourism raft service provided by Kitayama Village

1. Definition of personal information
   Refers to all information including information that may identify an individual, such as name, age, gender, address, telephone number, email address, school name, bank account, credit card number, etc.
2. Basic policy
   Kitayama Village recognizes the importance of personal information, considers it as our social responsibility to protect personal information, follows laws and regulations concerning personal information, acquires, handles and manages personal information properly.
3. Information to be acquired and its acquisition method

   （1）Information obtained directly from users
   Kitayama Village obtains the following information from users in the Kitayama rafting service.
   ・Name, age, gender, address, telephone number, e-mail address, usage history, account information
   ・Other information that Kitayama Village has determined to obtain on its website

   （2）Acquisition of technical information
   When users access this service, Kitayama Village acquires the following technical information.
   ・Terminal type / Terminal identifier / Browser type / Referer / IP address
   ・Cookies and other advertising identifiers

   （3）Information obtained based on the user's individual consent
   Kitayama Village obtains the following information when individual consent is obtained from the user.
   ・Location information / phone book

   （4）Information obtained by linking with external services
   Kitayama Village obtains the following information from the external service if the user permits the cooperation with the external service when using this service.
   ・ID used by the user in external service / Other information that the user has permitted to be disclosed to the partner by the privacy setting of the external service.

4. Purpose of use
   1. Kitayama Village and the Kitayama River Sightseeing Rafting Contractor will use the personal information submitted at the time of reservation and boarding for communication with customers as well as to the extent necessary for insurance and other procedures related to operation.
   2. In some cases, Kitayama Village might use your personal information to (1) request reviews and comments after boarding, (2) perform a survey, (3) create statistical data, and (4) send a Kitayama Village pamphlet.
   3. Kitayama Village and the Kitayama River Sightseeing Rafting Contractor might use photos and videos taken on the rafting descent for pamphlets and PR.
   4. Others
      ・Provision and use of products and services, billing of usage fees, identity verification, user authentication
      ・Traffic and behavior measurement of users, distribution of advertisement and results confirmation
      ・Implementation of important notices such as changes in service terms
      ・Information on services and response to inquiries
      ・Other purposes specified in the various services provided by Kitayama Village
   5. Provision of personal information to third parties
      Kitayama Village does not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the user. However, user information may be provided to third parties in the following cases.

      （1）When providing user information to the company which operates the external service in cooperation with external services or for authentication using external services

      （2）When Kitayama Village needs to cooperate with government agencies, local governments or their entrusted persons to carry out the affairs stipulated by laws and regulations, but there is a possibility that obtaining the consent from the user may hinder the execution of the business concerned

      （3） Other cases permitted by law

   6. Shared use of personal information Kitayama Village will share the following personal information of the user information.

      （１）Personal information data used in collaboration
      ・Name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, age, gender
      ・Service usage history and account information

      （２）Scope of the use in collaboration
      ・Kitayama River Tourism Rafting Contractor

      （３）Purpose of use in collaboration
      ・Provision and guidance of services

      （４）Responsible of personal information
      ・Kitayama Village

   7. Disclosure of personal information
      When disclosure of personal information based on the Personal Information Protection Law is requested by a customer, Kitayama Village will disclose it without delay after it has been confirmed that the request was made by the user him or herself. However, this shall not apply when Kitayama Village is not obliged to disclose based on the Personal Information Protection Law and other statutes.
   8. Correction of personal information, discontinuance of use, deletion, etc.

      （１）When the personal information is incorrect, and correction, addition, deletion (hereinafter referred to as “correction etc.”) are requested by a user, Kitayama Village will investigate without delay after it has been confirmed that the request was made by the user him or herself, and based on the results, proceed to notify once the correction of personal information has been completed.

      （２）When discontinuance of use or deletion of the personal information are requested by a user based on any reason of the following respective items, Kitayama Village will investigate without delay after it has been confirmed that the request was made by the user him or herself, and based on the results, proceed to notify once the discontinuation of use and deletion of personal information have been completed.
      ①When personal information is handled beyond the scope of utilization purposes announced beforehand.
      ②When personal information has been acquired by false or other methods.

      （３）The regulation of items 1 and 2 of this section shall not apply when Kitayama Village does not bear any responsibility for the correction or suspension of utilization, and deletion of information by other statutes of the Personal Information Protection Law.
